The Hydronix SDC-45-2050 20" Sediment Filter is the economical equivalent of the Liquatec SDF-45-2050 Sediment Filter. Also known as part number SDC-45-2050, this water filter uses 4 separate layers of micron filtration, as the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap larger sized particles, resulting in a much lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. The graded density of the Hydronix Sediment Filter provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. This 50-micron filter reduces waterborne contaminants like silt, rust, sand, and sediment.
