New GE IM6D Ice Maker Kit

Replacing the current IM6

IM6D Information:

2001 to present models that require an entire Ice Maker Kit.

Exceptions: Certain SXS models (2006-2008) that were 'IM Ready' but never had an icemaker. The bracket that was eliminated is required and GE has made available separately. Bracket Part # : WR02X11576

New Kit contains 2 ice buckets. The new additional ice bucket is to accommodate changes that GE made with the 2014 Top Freezer models.

New kit does not contain any additional wiring harnesses for water valve or IM.

Pre 2001 models that just need a replacement IM will require either a WR30X10093 ice maker only, as it has the adapter plug in the box or the new IM6D and a WR29X10049 individual adapter plug.

Same as Kenmore 04608346000 | IM4A. This icemaker kit can be installed on most Side-by-Side and Top-Mount Refrigerators. It has an electronic control board with an on/off switch to stop ice cube production. This IM6 ice maker also has a water level sensor in cube tray to regulate cube size and. an anti-jamming feature that causes jammed cubes to melt away. Kit includes ice maker, water valve, fill tube, wiring harness, ice container and complete instructions. This kit replaces the IM-1, IM-2, IM-3, IM-4, IM4A, IM5, IM5SS, UKKIT1, UKKIT2, UKKIT4, UKKIT5, WR30X318, WR30X10012, WR30X10014, and Sears part number 8390 icemaker kits.
