The Everpure H-1200 Cartridge Filter Specifications :

- A bacteriostat agent to combat the growth and reproduction of bacteria within the cartridge to prevent premature clogging
The Everpure filter cartridges have an outer pressure shell that is made of aluminum, which offers benefits of being both lightweight and able to withstand higher pressures. The outer surface of aluminum filter cartridges are relatively soft and therefore susceptible to scuffing, scarring and carbon spotting which can occur during the production process, as well as small indentations where the filter cartridges are gripped. Oxidation can also occur around the outer surface of the cartridges at certain times of the year due to humidity changes as they are shipped between cold and warm environments. These are nothing more than cosmetic blemishes and do not affect the cartridge's performance.
Please note: There is also a tendency for some residue of the carbon powder (located inside the cartridge) to settle near the top, this is just a bit of excess and can be wiped away.

The Everpure H-1200 water filtration system replacement filter is the Everpure H-1200 EV9282-01 or EV928201 replacement cartridge set.
Everpure H-1200 EV9282-00 Water Filtration System Instructions:
- Install the Everpure H-1200 cartridges vertically with cartridge hanging down.
- Replace both cartridges at the same time when capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow, but at least annually.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
- Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.
- Space required: 5 x 13 x 21 in. (13 x 33 x 53 cm) including 2-1/2 inches of clear space under unit for cartridge change.
